In this blog post I will be sharing my personal opinion about our first project as a class and how I felt about the three different presentations.

Looking back on group 1 and their presentation I felt like it was a good presentation. They did a very good job presenting and their slides were very well organized. I acknowledge that group 1 had less time than any other group and with that being said I give them props because they did such a good job covering the chapter. I feel like they could've added a little bit more pictures and images onto their presentation but as I mentioned earlier they did have less time than any other group. All in all they did a great job with their presentation and they really were able to grasp the audience with their chapter which was Intercultural Communication. Intercultural communication from my understanding based on their presentation is about how different cultures communicate and understand each other. It is also about a person's sexual orientation, religion, and age. In my opinion I believe we all have an understanding about one another despite our age, religion or sex.

My group was group 2 not to be biased but I believe my group did an excellent job with their presentation and their way of presenting their sections. We all incorporated pictures and videos. I feel as if we all made it really come together and flow very nicely. We were all on the same page and communicated amongst each other very well. I felt like there was no miscommunication between me and my group members. They were all very understanding and cooperative with the work that was assigned to them. I can say without a doubt I loved working with my group members and would be honored and glad to work with all of them again. Our group topic was communication within groups. We talked about communication with families, social groups, support groups, service groups, work groups, and virtual groups. We also spoke about what healthy group communication looks like. Another thing we broke down was the stages of different types of group development.

Looking at Group 3 I really like their presentation background themes. I really enjoyed how many videos they had in their presentation. It really helped understand the chapters sections a lot more. I also enjoyed how well they presented their project. They all knew when their turn was to read and when to go onto the next slide. It was a very smooth presentation. They also have bright colors which can really guide your eyes to the images they displayed. Comparing their presentation to ours I would take notes on the bright images and definitely incorporate more flashy pictures to really grab the viewer's attention. Their presentation was about leadership and problem solving. I believe that in the real world we see this type of thing the most and it has even become a part of our day to day life. They showed us the main types of leaders, the tasks of a leader and the maintenance of obtaining a leadership position. They also spoke of the responsibilities a leader has to have in order to be a good and effective leader. They also broke down the way a leader or really any one should go about solving any problems they might have to deal with or solve. One thing I really enjoyed was when they spoke about the formats of a meeting and how to plan your life for success. I really liked that portion of the presentation because I was able to relate to it a lot. I like to consider myself a very well organized person when it comes to my personal life, work life, and school life. Without organization you can lose track of a lot of things. For example due dates, appointments and even meetings or other important events.

To conclude, I feel like everyone did an amazing job and I can't wait to work with everyone throughout the semester with different projects.
