In this blog post I will be sharing my personal opinion about our first project as a class and how I felt about the three different presentations.
Next was my group, group 2. We did our presentation on communications within groups. This is a very important topic. Communication is key without groups in order to function correctly. Communication doesn't mean face to face, but could be through zoom, or phone calls. These new ways to communicate are recently, and I think it's a great way for jobs and schools to get their peers to communicate. Bringing new ways to work together and bring better ways to communicate. It keeps the job entertaining, and more active. It has been said that this has been helping a lot of families with their personal lives. Those who do not have time to take their kids to school or always make it late to work due to traffic, can actually do better work with using online meetings as a way to work. In this way, they get extra time to do whatever it is they needed to do before that they couldn't do. Some Mothers have no time to spend with their kids, I know this myself. My mother used to physically go to work, and would come home very late due to her office being far. Ever since she got approved to work from home using zoom and other methods, I have been able to spend time with my mom. This is very helpful, I grew up without hanging out much with my mom, and thankfully we've gotten a lot closer thanks to the new communication within her groups at work. Communication doesn't have to be verbal, it can also be non verbal or visual, and even written. This makes working jobs more active as I said. It keeps people more engaged in their Jobs thus producing a better result. My group did an amazing job in explaining everything, and I am so proud to be working with these talented people. Im glad we got paired together and I look forward to our next project.
And lastly and still important was group 3, they did a presentation about leadership. My favorite part from group three's presentation was when they showed a clip from one of my childhood memories which its called 'A Bugs Life' if you really think about it, this movie is a perfect example of leadership and problem-solving. The main character Flik was tired of always following orders around and having to give up their food supply to the grasshoppers. He then took his problem solving skills to find a way to fight the grasshoppers, while finding a way to fight the grasshoppers, he used leadership skills to command everyone and guide through the steps of finally owning up to the grasshoppers. It's a great example, while also being kid friendly, and it's a great way to learn about leadership and problem solving. When I first learned about problem- solving and leadership, was in one of my jobs as a front desk coordinator. I had to struggle fro the first couple of months, but once your learn, I was able to coordinate events and appointments. Eventually I became really good at my job, but unfortunately the company had cutbacks and it resulted in having to put in my 2 week notice. It was a really good experience, and it helped me mature just a little more, and I'm sure that as I grow up, I will learn and mature and multiple ways. Now that I have these skills, I have more potential to get hired at many other jobs that may want or need me. In the end, I think group 3 did a really good job at their presentation, not only with the examples, but with how organized their powerpoint was. I truly did learn new information, and I love the way everything was set up. Every explanation was detailed and thorough which helps me understand better, when too many words are jumbled together I can't understand anything.

Very good reflection.
