Group one choose the topic, Paying it forward. They spoke about the impact of leadership and others. Paying it forward was explained by group one. They showed us how an act of kindness can change someones life and even your own. I try to do an act of kindness everyday. For example, I'll make sandwiches for the homeless people that live in my area. I remember around winter time last year, there was a homeless man in a wheelchair at the corner of my apartment building. I saw him and went inside my house and I gave him a hot coffee, a warm sandwich, chips, and couple of bottles of water. I also gave him a blanket with a small pillow i had in my house. After that moment I felt so much better having and being given the opportunity to help someone in need can make you feel good about yourself and it can make you feel like you've made a change to someones life.
Group three choose the topic good eating. I really enjoyed their presentation because it gave me a new aspect on how my eating habits might need to change. They spoke about the benefits and the negatives about eating good and the effects of eating bad. They spoke about how it can effect your mental health, physical health, and how it can effect your day to day life. I thought their presentation was very informative and very persuasive. After their presentation I have changed the way I eat included the times I eat and what it is I eat. I have been making more food at home I have also been fixing my eating times. For example, I won't eat past 12:00 midnight and I can say that now because of it I don't feel as exhausted throughout the day especially when I wake up .
I was apart of group two. We choose the topic Self-care. I really liked our topic because I believe that there is so much more to self-care than just going to the spa to pamper yourself. Self-care if about your mental health, physical health, and just your overall well-being. We spoke about how we can improve ourselves by getting enough sleep, eating right, exercising, and about going to see a healthcare professional. I spoke with a doctor that I work with and gave his personal opinion about how we as people neglect going to doctors office to get a check up, a check up that should be routine for everyone. While doing our project I learned a lot. I learned the importance of keeping up with my mind and body. I found new ways to keep myself active while being able to manage my personal and professional life.

Very good reflection post!
